Celebrating the Islamic Month of Ramadan
The Muslim Student Association at Appalachian State welcomes the blessed month of Ramadan. Many people know Ramadan as a month in which Muslims refrain from food and drink during the day, but this holy month also represents an opportunity for spiritual growth and reflection beyond just practicing self-discipline through fasting. The past year has been very difficult for many of us. We wish you ease during these difficult times and hope that this Ramadan gives us all an opportunity to reflect, express gratitude, recommit to serving our communities, and remember our loved ones who may not be able to celebrate this holy month with us. Ramadan Kareem!
