Diversity Scholars
The Diversity Scholars program is designed to recognize students who demonstrate academic excellence. The program not only recognizes merit in scholarship but provides students with an opportunity to promote and embrace diversity on and off campus. This program brings people together from different cultures and backgrounds to work on building unity through diversity. Requirements for the Diversity Scholars program include:
- Good academic standing (full time student each semester, 3.0 GPA)
- Attend monthly Diversity Scholars meetings
- Complete 15 hours of community and university service each academic year
- Engage in an international experience one semester (fall, spring, or summer) before senior year
This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshman who apply and interview at the annual Scholars Weekend.
