Recruitment Initiative
To students interested in applying to Appalachian, the Office of Intercultural Student Affairs partners with the Admissions office to inform multicultural applicants about diversity and multicultural resources on campus.
Diversity Events (opens in a new tab) provided by the Admissions office invites high school seniors from around the state to visit Appalachian for a day and receive a first-hand view of Appalachian State. Events include a campus tour, student panels, a chance to talk with current students and faculty/staff, and information on scholarships, financial aid, and academics here at App State. Applicants attend informative meetings about Appalachian State University as well as fun activities aimed toward encouraging community growth.
